Our Brand

Daniel’s Burgers or “DB” is based on the story of Daniel in the Lion’s Den. The story twist goes, the lions didn’t eat Daniel they ate burgers instead. The character of Daniel and four lion cubs make up the brand. Throw in another cute lion, “Daniel’s Lion” which appears on the brand logo to complete the picture. The marketing promotes a Christian message that “change is possible”.

Who’s Daniel?

Daniel was man who trusted in God. He was a servant of the King in ancient Babylon. The King loved him so much that the other officials were jealous of him, so they tricked the King into signing a law that whoever worships a god other than the King, would be put to death. But Daniel continued to pray to God 3 times a day, so the officials arrested him and threw him into the lion’s den. That night, Daniel prayed. But the King was so worried for him that he could not eat or sleep the whole night, and early in the morning he rushed to the den to check on Daniel. He found Daniel alive, without a single wound because Daniel had trusted in God, and God had sent his angels to shut the mouths of the lions.

The lion cubs

While praying, the lions transform into gentle loving creatures who munch on burgers instead of Daniel. He names them Sammi, Caleb, Alicia and Hannah.
